Ghillie-Kettles and Accessories

Ghillie- Kettles are unique fired kettles, designed to boil water and cook food using any combustible material found outdoors such as grass, twigs and pieces of wood.  The Kettles are volcano type kettles, designed to be light weight, durable and able to boil water in the harshest weather conditions, only requiring a small amount of combustible material to get water to a boil for cooking food or making that perfect cup of coffee in the great outdoors

 Simply pour Water into the kettle and put the whistle on. The doughnut shaped tube / chimney contains the combustible material that lies in the bottom of the pan on which the kettle sits. Once lit flames rise through the middle of the chimney and heat the water. The hole through the bottom of the pan allows more twigs, paper etc to be added and also allows oxygen to be sucked in as the flames rise. You can continue to add combustible items down through the center of the chimney if you need to.

  The Ghillie Kettle comes with full instructions. It is the only kettle on the market that has the whistle safety feature. Ideal for any number of activities such as hiking, over landing, camping and fishing. Can be used in all conditions as long as you can light the fire: It is quick, clean and durable. Burns twigs, fir cones dry leaves, straw, newspaper etc 

As an optional extra the Ghillie Kettle can cook food on the residual heat, while boiling water. The Optional Cooking kit stows away inside the kettle , ready to cook some food ,when you are boiling water for a cup of java
